SCHOOL FEATURES
WHAT YOU WILL FIND AT CCA
Cheswick Christian Academy offers the most affordable private Christian education in the Pittsburgh area. Since its inception in 1978, Cheswick has strived to serve the community by offering a Christ-centered education at a price that most families can afford.
One of the many benefits of attending CCA as a student is the smaller class sizes. With an average class size of 15-18 kids, students are able to receive more attention from the teachers, which helps to boost academic achievement.
Cheswick Christian Academy offers boys and girls basketball, flag football, softball, and a variety of intramural sports activities.
Cheswick Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. CCA does not discriminate in its admission policies, nor in any of its policies on the basis of sex, race, color, national origin or religion.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. We believe personal salvation shall be given to all who have repented of their sins, who have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ to the saving of their souls, have given clear evidence of their salvation, and are thus born again. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe in the ordinance of baptism by immersion in water. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling it is that the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
We believe in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper, and it shall be observed regularly as enjoined by Scripture. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
