Elementary School Curriculum

Because Cheswick Christian believes in a strong foundation in the academic basics, the curriculum of the elementary grades includes the standard subjects, such as reading, mathematics, language, spelling, science, social studies, computers, and cursive handwriting.  In addition, however, the Academy offers Bible, chapel, music, art, and physical education. There is currently a basketball program for boys and girls in the upper level elementary grades.

The students in grades 4 – 6 are invited to participate in a yearly field trip organized by the teachers with the fundraising help of the students.  Destinations in the past have included Lancaster, Ohio, Toronto, Tennessee, Virginia Beach and Cape Cod.
