On Saturday, September 7th, we are hosting a Spaghetti Dinner to help with the expenses of Clinton Blazevich, Pastor of Cheswick Christian Fellowship, who is currently awaiting a heart transplant. Clinton is also a part-time teacher at Cheswick Christian Academy and helps coach basketball and flag football. He is loved by many. Clinton’s heart was attacked by a virus 19 years ago, leaving his heart function at 20% capacity. On June 27, 2019, Clinton was informed that he was in the final stages of heart failure and is in need of a heart transplant.
The Spaghetti Dinner will take place at the Allegheny Valley Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, 851 Parkway Drive in Harwick from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on September 7th. Tickets in advance are $9 and available at the school. Tickets at the door are $10. Children’s tickets, ages 6-12, are $5. Children 5 years old and younger are free. Take-out is available.
Mostly, please pray for Clinton and his family. His wife also teaches full-time at the Academy and has had to resign to take care of Clinton.
